Bloom is around the corner!
- Remove excess winter mulch upon the first signs of spring growth.
- Ensure a spectacular display of color by applying a well balanced (10-10-10) fertilizer to your daylilies at the first signs of growth as well.
- Remove weeds as needed.
- Begin watering as needed, remembering to give your daylilies a deep, rather than shallow, watering.
- Monitor plants for unwanted pests, like snails and slugs.
- Plant, dig, and divide daylilies as needed.
- Apply a well-balanced fertilizer to freshly planted daylilies.
