Spirit Rider

Spirit Rider is the latest in a succession of bluish-purple plicata Iris.  An eye-level view at the contrast between the inner standards and stylearms can be captivating, as compelling as one of Georgia O’Keefe’s masterworks.  Meanwhile plum plicata markings encircle both the falls and standards.  Spirit Rider blooms earlier in the season, on 42” stalks. Winner of Premio Firenze (First Place) in the International Iris Competition in Florence, Italy.
