On Thin Ice lives up to its name. Adjacent Iris in the display garden at bloomtime were somewhat overlooked because of the starpower of On Thin Ice as shown in our photo. Light blue is such a popular and utterly gorgeous color. The shape of the flower can’t be improved upon. The midribs of the standards are flushed in a deeper blue. There are 8 very large flowers on each robust bloomstalk with 3-branched stems. This offspring of Wintry Sky is making a name for itself. See what you can get away with.
